Contractors Showdown: ExfilZone — Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Contractors Showdown: ExfilZone (the "Game") and related services operated by Caveman Studio. By playing, you agree to them.

Your Account

You're responsible for what happens on your account. Don't share, sell, or transfer it. If something looks wrong, email social@cavemanstudio.net.

You must be at least 13 (or your country's minimum age, whichever is higher).

Virtual Items

In-game items, currency, and progression are licensed to you, not sold. They have no real-world value and can't be cashed out. If your account is banned for breaking these Terms, you don't get a refund for unused items or purchases.

Store purchases (Meta Horizon Store, Steam) follow each platform's refund policy.

Conduct

Players are strictly prohibited from using, developing, distributing, assisting, promoting, or benefiting from any unauthorized third-party software, cheat tools, scripts, bots, or any technique that modifies, manipulates, or interferes with normal gameplay. Players are likewise prohibited from intentionally exploiting any bug, glitch, error, duplication method, or other unintended game behavior to gain an unfair advantage, duplicate items, manipulate in-game resources, disrupt the in-game economy, or otherwise compromise the integrity of Contractors Showdown: ExfilZone. This prohibition extends to the transfer, trade, sale, storage, or concealment of items or resources obtained through such conduct, and to any attempt to benefit from such activity, whether directly or through another account.

Acknowledgment

By accessing or playing Contractors Showdown: ExfilZone, you agree to comply with this policy and acknowledge that the developers retain full discretion to take any action they consider necessary to protect the fairness, stability and integrity of the game for all players.

Investigation and Enforcement
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to investigate any account, including its associated HQ, inventory, stash, progression, transactions, and gameplay activity, where we reasonably believe such account may be connected to prohibited conduct. Where we determine, or reasonably suspect, that a player has engaged in or benefited from prohibited conduct, we may take appropriate enforcement action against the account, with or without prior notice. The nature, scope, and severity of any such actioni shall be determined by the developers in their sole discretion.
We are not obligated to disclose the specific data, evidence, criteria, or methods relied upon in any investigation or enforcement decision, particularly where doing so may compromise our ability to detect or prevent future abuse.

Appeals

Players who believe enforcement action was taken against their account in error may submit an appeal through the designated channel on our official Discord server: [https://discord.gg/contractorsshowdown]. Appeals will be reviewed at our discretion. Submission of an appeal does not guarantee any reversal, modification, or suspension of the action taken, and final decisions rest with the developers.

The Game Will Change

The Game is a live service. We may update, modify, balance, or remove features, items, and content at any time. We don't guarantee uptime, and we may suspend or discontinue any part of the service.

What You Can't Do

You may not reverse engineer the Game, run private servers, or use the Game commercially without our written permission. The Game and its content remain the property of Caveman Studio.

VR Safety

This is a VR game. Stop playing if you feel sick or disoriented and follow your headset's safety guidelines.

Legal

The Game is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, Caveman Studio isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or lost virtual items. Total liability is capped at what you paid us in the past 12 months.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Disputes go to arbitration at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), seated in Hong Kong, in English, before a single arbitrator. We can still go to court for cheating, IP, or unauthorized access matters.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on our website. Continued play means you accept the updated version.
