Nov.22nd, 2023, Situation Report

Dear operators,

First, we are thrilled to see that Contractors has been released for almost 5 years! Glad to see all of you guys are still supporting us! As part of this new endeavor, we are excited to announce the launch of a closed alpha test for the Contractors Showdown. We are looking for dedicated testers to provide valuable feedback and help us refine the gameplay experience. This alpha test will be a crucial step in ensuring that the new game meets the high standards that our community has come to expect from us.

We know it sounds very intriguing, no anniversary, no update, no actual roadmap. We want to assure you that we are not abandoning our original Contractors. We are committed to continuing support and updates for the foreseeable future to v1,0. Our decision to create a new game stems from our desire to expand and reach new rooftops of our creativity. We believe Contractors Showdown will allow us to explore new ideas and push the boundaries of our creativity.

Therefore, here’s our plan for Contractors in the following months.

Firstly, the Close Alpha Test of Contractors Showdown will be running continuously for at least one month. We strongly encourage all hardcore gamers to participate in the Close Alpha Test and tell us what you think of our new features. In the future, we'll be able to port them into Contractors with the help of your feedback! For example, the Quest 3 update, the vault mechanics, grenade throw assist, and etc.

As we collect everyone's feedback on Contractors Showdown, we will slowly incorporate the features you enjoy into future updates for Contractors until v1.0, such as increasing the lobby size and unlocking additional performance capabilities for the Quest 3.

Additionally, we have noticed that our modkit is still flawed, and the modding community has provided us with abundant amounts of useful feedback, and we have realized that our lack of communication with the modding community really caused some chaos dates back to August. To avoid any critical issues for the modders next time, we will communicate with the modding community in advance.

Keeping our community informed and involved every step of the way. We believe that with your help, we can make Contractors Showdown a success while still maintaining the integrity of Contractors.

This is just another beginning, not a destination. Thank you for being a part of our gaming community, and we look forward to embarking on this new adventure with all of you.
