Sitrep: ExfilZone 3rd Wipe Update

Dear Contractors,

The 3rd wipe update of ExfilZone is live today on Dec 22th. We hope this quality update can bring a fresh and exciting experience for you and your friends during this holiday. This update introduces a major balance reset alongside extensive new weapons, map improvements, and core system upgrades designed to deepen gameplay and improve progression.

Here’s what’s coming with this wipe:

New Weapons

Five new primary weapons have been added to expand combat roles and loadout diversity: SVD, VSS, AS Val, SR-3M, and the M1928 SMG, all supported by a large set of new attachments and ammo types. These additions introduce fresh tactical options for long-range, mid-range, and close-quarters combat. Audio of these weapons has also been optimized based on valuable feedback from our player community.

Revamped Dam Map

The Dam map has been significantly rebuilt with reworked terrain, rebalanced points of interest, and improved navigational flow. Multiple new locations such as Turbine Field, Lumberyard, and Crash Site introduce fresh exploration and strategies.

Limb Penetration

A new limb penetration mechanic has been introduced: bullets can now pass through limb hit areas and continue traveling, potentially hitting additional body parts. Penetration consumes bullet penetration value, making ammo choice and shot placement more impactful during firefights.

Quick Loadout

The Quick Loadout system allows players to store, preview, and restore armor presets directly at the armor loadout station. Presets can be restored using store-purchasable items, helping reduce downtime between deployments.

Christmas Event & Decorations

To celebrate the holiday season, a Christmas event is live alongside festive Hideout decorations that add seasonal atmosphere between raids.

Physical Gunstock Calibration

Support for physical gunstock calibration has been added to improve weapon alignment and handling for players with physical gunstock hardware, creating a more immersive aiming experience.

Mission & Task UI Enhancements

Tasks and objectives can now be seen directly on a mini-map, and difficulty indicators have been added for better at-a-glance planning. These improvements streamline mission planning across maps.

Crash Fixes

Multiple crash issues have been addressed, improving game stability and reducing unexpected disconnects. We’re committed to a smoother, more reliable play experience with this update.

Optimizations & Bug Fixes

Performance and visual quality have been improved across the game, including lighting, terrain structures, compass display, and Hideout layout. Numerous known bugs—especially on the Dam map—have also been fixed to ensure smoother and more consistent gameplay.

Taskline Adjustments

Task progression has been streamlined with more early-game tasks, reduced item requirements, fewer trader locks, and improved rewards. Early-game currency rewards are increased to support smoother progression.

Trader Updates

Top-tier ammo has been removed from direct purchase and is now exclusively available via item exchanges. Advanced ammo types are organized into limited and unlimited purchase categories with adjusted pricing, alongside updates to item rarities and purchase conditions.
